Seminar Description:
I was inspired to explore this topic and discover what part I can play after hearing Zainab Salib, author and founder of Women for Women International(which helps women victims of war rebuild their lives), speak at the International Coach Federation Conference, and then learning about the work of the Elders. Zainab is a great model of living from power and peace, as are Jimmy Carter, Nelson Mandela, and Desmond Tutu, some of the Elders. What part can we play in living out God's dream, as Tutu puts it (in his book)? How can we best use our resources (money, time, gifts, experience, education, etc) for this greater good? What does it mean to be impatient with injustice while at peace?
